ServSafeå¨ is the most widely accepted food safety program among local, state, and federal health departments.
The ServSafeå¨ Sanitation certification classes qualify successful students for both state and local certification.
The program provides individuals with production/operations and managerial skills needed in the food service industry.
The training covers the planning, selection, storage, purchasing, preparation of food and food products, as well as basic nutrition, sanitation, and safety in the use and care of commercial equipment.
Illinois CareerPath Institute offers the ServSafeå¨ (FoodserviceSanitation) course on a bi-monthly basis.
